On Friday February 22, 2019, Concordia Community Support Services’ Missions Committee held their Winter Servant Event by volunteering alongside the Northside Homeless Alliance and Pittsburgh Mercy’s Operation Safety Net to serve the homeless population in the city of Pittsburgh. Our volunteers assisted with setting up the dinning area, serving food, and sorting through donations of winter clothes to provide to these individuals. Approximately 120 people came through the doors that evening and all were given a hot meal and warm place to stay for the evening.
